Florida's Crap-Based Priorities

A quick glance at this month's news from the Florida Senate shows a couple of pieces of legislation up for consideration:
Lawmaker proposes toilet paper law
Here's the bottom line - there should be enough toilet paper when you go into the rest room in an eating establishment.

That's what Sen. Victor Crist thinks, and he's got a bill to make it happen. (ref)


Storms Tries To Put Evolution Up For Vote
A Senate committee chairman wants to hold a hearing on a proposal from Sen. Ronda Storms to allow public school teachers to contradict the theory of evolution in class. (ref)
Never let it be said that Florida doesn't know what to do with their crap.
