Heath Ledger and Nikki, Psychic to the Stars

Nikki, the famed "psychic to the stars", maintains a list of predictions for the coming year on her website. One of her categories is the morosely named "Death Watch and Health Watch" section. A visit to her website will lead you to believe that she predicted Heath Ledger's death. This would be a powerful demonstration of her abilities since, as far as I know, Heath had no adverse issues that predisposed him to an early and untimely death. We should all bow down to Nikki's Woo. The following pic is courtesy of Gerry (thanks!).

But I happened to give a talk last night on the Way of the Woo, and in my research, I copied Nikki's 2008 predictions two days ago. Looking at my copy, I didn't see Heath Ledger's name mentioned anywhere. So, did Nikki REALLY predict Mr. Ledger's death and just forget to put it on her website? Or did she make a Post Hoc prediction?

What's more, Nikki also removed her prediction that Angelina Jolie would be nominated for an Oscar this year. And this was AFTER the nominations had been announced. I did a comparison with her original page (thank you Google cache!) in MS Word. You can see the results below.

From where I sit, it looks like Nikki lied to us. And while I'll be the first to defend anyone's Woo, my gold standard is that they not lie to the people because this does more damage to the culture of Woo than anything else.

So, from now on, I'll be watching her like a kite. I honestly don't think I can trust her anymore.

Unsurprising results, but good job displaying some evidence!

And even if she weren't lying, it's still not a demonstration of her 'psychic' abilities. Look at all the people on the list who DIDN'T die.

Not to mention that if you go back through the years (she keeps a log for several years on her site - for some reason), you'll notice that she "predicts" Pam Anderson's death just about every year for the past five or six.

That's not psychic, that's playing the fucking odds.

"Robin Williams will find himself in trouble for a racist remark."

Has she ever seen his act?

i suspected this all along when i wrote that post. what was to stop her from adding names?

Isn't that some sort of fraud? Can she legally be held accountable for it? It'd be nice. Maybe false advertising? I'm reaching here...

I'm glad to hear she was wrong because in 2002, she told me i was going to outlive my daughter at a young age and i'm living in fear because of it. Here's hoping her predictions never come true!!

We are yet to solve the mysteries of this world and it's never that bad to be skeptical and doubt at times, as well as to believe. :)

Highlighted in today's history, June 30th 1894, the London Tower Bridge opens for the first time for public use. It's one of the amazing spectacles that proved the capacity of innovation and the reason to doubt. Let's open our minds to the possibilities. ;)

It's an interesting approach. Generic Paxil commonly see unexceptional views on the subject but yours it's written in a pretty unusual fashion. Surely, Generic Ultracet will revisit your website for additional info.

Nice article, not sure about all of these psychic abilities and how they all work for the common good. A psychic reading is a blessing if it works out right.

I'm acuallly glad someone posted on psychic Nikki bc I did call her for a reading and it has destroyed Mr me mentally to the point where I'm self profasizing what she said I just wish I knew why she would tell me my husband and I wouldn't have kids and I should leave and that he will remarry. It breaks my heart and I find myself trying to push him away bc of this.
